do u remember life,
           ...before cellphone?
when ppl hd time,
          for them n their own.

sure,there were jobs,
             n related pressure,
but once home,
             there was only pleasure.

two little eyes,
              tired by the stress,
atleast in the evening,
               used to get rest.

home wasnt al cakewalk,
               except....
tension wasn't allowed,
                beyond doorstep.

once home,fathers used 2 play,
               husbands used2 talk.
some couples even got time,
              for....after dinner walk.

no calls,no mails,
               no 24/7on duty,
nobody missed the drill,
               n thats the beauty.

contact was still possible,
              there was landline.
BSNL was the only provider,
             n things worked just fine.

life was uncomplicated,
             relaxed n humane.
cellphones made grand entry,
             n made life insane.

they captured market,
            brains n mindset.
dangers were overlooked
            n ppl thought..''oh,its gr8.''

they were popular,
               coz of the convinience.
no one realised,that they r buying,
               stress,in abundance.

ppl got hooked,
              cellphone was the latest addiction.
it was a need,a greed,n
             a burning obsession.

ppl suffered from anxiety,pressure n
             sleep deprivation.
those were the symptoms of,
            silently killing,addiction.

just bodies come home,
             essence is lost at work.
they need a scapegoat,
             n they call their boss...a jerk.

try going on a vacation,one day...
              without cellphone or laptop,
see the beautiful world,
              enjoy full sky n not just a part.

it can be done,
              u will still survive.
will help u2 go thru the rut,
              n make u feel alive.
